All of the camps at the Y share one thing: they're about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, make lasting friendships adn memories. And, of course, it's fun too.
At the Y we not only provide a world of fun, friends and adventure for your child, but we also focus on values and characher development. Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility are part of every camp day.
You can depend on the Y to make sure that all camp activity areas are well supervised. All of our camp staff are interviewed and go through a complete background check prior to being hired. As role models, they are selected for sound judgement, maturity, experience, enthusiasm and creativity. Training occurs bothe before and throughout the summer to ensure attention to detail. All staff are certified in CPR and First Aid.

Camp Hours: 7:00am-6:00pm
Camp Fees: include 1 Field Trip every week, Enrichment Programs, Educational Activities, Swimming, Great Hours for Working Parents, Lunch and Afternoon Snack (Provided by VAC)
$145/week per child*
$30/day per child*
(Minimum 2 days per week required. Additional $5 fee if you register for Wednesdays and Thursdays)

Registration Fee: $25 per child Deposit: $20/week or $10/day per child will reserve your space in the programs

Financial Assistance for YMCA Summer Day Camp is available thanks to donations to our YMCA Strong Kids Campaign and the Kishwaukee United Way. The application for financial assistance for summer day camp is below. Please note the deadline for applying for financial assistance is 4/1/13 for this summer.
Preschool Camp (3 - 5 yrs.)
Summer Camp is fun for the little ones! This half-day camp is designed specifically for preschoolers. Children participate in hands-on learning experiences along with all the fun of camp! Activities include arts & crafts, games, songs, music and nature.
