All of the camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too.

Enroll now in an all-inclusive summer camp experience at the Kishwaukee Family YMCA. You never have to pay extra money for a wide variety of dynamic programs and an atmosphere that emphasizes good values along with good times. Also, included in your fee are the following:
- Field Trips EVERY week!
- Early drop-off and late pick-up
- Swimming
- Character Development /Asset Building
- Camp T-shirt
- Program & Activity choices-- we call them ―Camp Tracks
- A healthy lunch & daily snack are also provided each day by the Voluntary Action Center!
Camp Age Groups (Grade the child is entering in the fall.):

K-3rd Graders
4th-6th Graders
7th-9th Graders
Camp Fees:
$140/week per child for YMCA members. (Youth memberships cost as little as $16.50/month!)
$185/week per child for nonmembers.
$30/day for YMCA members and $40/day for nonmembers (Minimum 2 days per week required. Additional $10 per day on field trips.)
Registration Fee: $25 per child Deposit: $20/week or $10/day per child will reserve your space in the program.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR EXPERIENCE
Full-week campers will spend a minimum of 3 hours participating in selected activities. Kids can participate in a variety of activities throughout the summer. We call these camp tracks, kids call them “fun.”
TYPICAL DAY SCHEDULE
Field Trips Every Week!
Swimming 2x Per Week!
7:00-9:00am........ Early Drop-Off Time. Games in the Sports Center or Outdoors.9:00-
9:00-9:15am........Opening Ceremony
9:45-11:00am.......Games and Character Development/Asset
Building Lessons
11:00-11:30am......Lunch (Provided by VAC) and Clean-up
11:30-3:00pm.......Daily Calendar, Special Events and other Games/Actitivites or Tracks (Also swimming at least 2 times per week!)
3:00-3:30pm.........Afternoon Snack (provided by VAC)
3:30-4:00pm.........Clean-up and Closing Ceremony
4:00-6:00pm.........YMCA Playground and Sports Center Games, Crafts, & Activities.
PARENTS, SET YOUR MIND AT EASE....
What sets our camps apart is the quality of our staff. All camp counselors at Kishwaukee Family YMCA are carefully selected for their enthusiasm, experience, and professionalism. All staff members are First Aid, CPR, and AED certified as well as background checked.
Preschool Camp (3 - 5 yrs.)
Summer Camp is fun for the little ones! This half-day camp is designed specifically for preschoolers. Children participate in hands-on learning experiences along with all the fun of camp! Activities include arts & crafts, games, songs, music and nature.
