LIVE HEALTHY DEKALB COUNTY
Kishwaukee Family YMCA and KishHealth System are engaging community leaders through the Live Healthy DeKalb County formerly Pioneering Healthier Communities(PHC) Initiative. Live Healthy DeKalb County is built on the concept that local communities can work together to give all people healthy choices and support the pursuit of healthy lifestyles. Through support from the CDC, we are partnering with others to create policies and environments that motivate people to eat healthy and be physically active every day. The Kishwaukee Family YMCA supports healthy living with programs, involving our members and the community. Our YMCA reaches out to Health Seekers and supports individuals of all ages to manage their weight effectively through energy balance.
